Photographer Flemming Leitorp lives and works in Copenhagen. 

From the age of 12 Flemming wanted to be a photographer. He spent countless hours dreaming about his when he would get his first camera; eventually he bought a Richo FF9, which he still owns, even though the majority of his work is shot with a digital camera today. 

In 2005, Flemming started his company leitorp.com. He had hesitated with starting up as a professional photographer, as he was afraid of losing his one big interest, taking pictures! From then, he has worked for numerous Danish magazines, e.g. GLAM, Sirene, Where2Go, etc. 

Flemming works mostly with portraits, and fortunately the majority of his pictures are of famous people and fashionistas.  Recently he did a shoot for Viasat Sport with some of his own football idols, international legends, Peter Schmeichel, Michael and Brian Laudrup.

The main focus when Flemming takes pictures is the individual, and currently the latest thing for him, is playing with daylight and shooting the pictures against the conventional rules. In his work, he uses different composing techniques, e.g. having the lens covered with a Wolford stocking.
